1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ZRG Studios ("ZRG Studios," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of ITForMe. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use ITForMe. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by the laws of your country. If you are not old enough to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must agree for you where permitted.
You may not use ITForMe if applicable law bars you from receiving the service.
3. Accounts and sign-in providers
Hosted accounts use approved external identity providers such as Discord, GitHub, or Google. You are responsible for protecting those accounts and for activity performed through your ITForMe session.
Provide accurate information, do not impersonate another person, and notify us if you believe your account or linked identity has been compromised. ITForMe does not merge accounts solely because provider email addresses match.
The selected provider's terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of that provider. Discord is not a party to these Terms between you and ZRG Studios.
4. Acceptable use
You may use ITForMe for lawful personal learning, career planning, educational assessment, and good-faith community corrections.
- Do not attack, probe, overload, disrupt, scrape excessively, reverse engineer where prohibited, bypass access controls, or access another user's account or workspace.
- Do not upload malware, exploit code intended to harm the service, unlawful material, harassment, deceptive submissions, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Do not use study-deck uploads for non-IT learning material; ITForMe is an information-technology learning service.
- Do not submit real certification exam questions obtained under a nondisclosure agreement, stolen course material, or other exam dumps.
- Do not submit employer, customer, patient, student, financial, credential, or other sensitive information unless you have clear authority and the feature explicitly requires it. ITForMe normally does not need such information.
- Do not manipulate votes, create accounts to evade limits, misrepresent review status, or use community features to promote unrelated products or services.
- Do not use OAuth or provider data to profile people, map their relationships, discriminate, or make employment, housing, insurance, credit, or similar eligibility decisions.
5. Educational content and results
ITForMe provides study plans, career-path estimates, quizzes, PBQs, timing feedback, and links to third-party resources for educational purposes. It does not provide professional, legal, employment, financial, or certification-vendor advice.
A score, confidence estimate, roadmap, certificate recommendation, or practice result is not a guarantee that you will pass an exam, obtain a job, retain a skill, or meet an employer's requirements. Exam objectives, products, and hiring conditions can change.
Content labels distinguish objective mapping, internal validation, independent human review, community suggestions, and private-source approval. Community popularity does not establish technical correctness, and staff review remains authoritative for catalog changes.
6. Your content and community submissions
You retain ownership of learning notes, imported progress, correction proposals, and other content you submit. You grant ZRG Studios a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, process, format, display, moderate, and back up that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve ITForMe.
For a correction or feedback proposal intended for public review, the license also permits us to publish the proposal, discuss it, and incorporate the underlying suggestion into ITForMe content. We may edit, reject, remove, or retain a moderation record of submissions under these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and that it does not expose confidential, proprietary, personal, or regulated information without authorization.
7. ITForMe and third-party rights
ITForMe's software, site design, original lessons, explanations, and branding are owned by ZRG Studios or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership.
Certification names, exam codes, vendor marks, linked courses, OAuth provider marks, and third-party platform names belong to their respective owners. ITForMe is not affiliated with or endorsed by CompTIA, Cisco, Discord, GitHub, Google, Professor Messer, Hack The Box, TryHackMe, or other referenced providers unless expressly stated.
8. Third-party services and links
ITForMe depends on or links to services operated by others, including OAuth providers, Cloudflare, certification vendors, and external learning platforms. Their availability, security, content, pricing, and policies are outside our control.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by its terms. A link or integration does not mean ZRG Studios endorses every statement, product, or practice of that service.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what information ITForMe collects, how it is used and shared, and how to download or delete account data. By using the service, you acknowledge those practices.
Read the ITForMe Privacy Policy.
10. Paid offers, access terms, and refunds
ITForMe may offer a one-time fixed-term paid product after its founding preview. The product, price, currency, tax treatment, access period, and applicable Terms and refund-policy version are shown before Stripe-hosted Checkout. The initial paid beta does not renew automatically.
Stripe, not ITForMe, collects payment-card details. Access is issued only after a signed server notification verifies the exact order, amount, currency, price, quantity, and paid status. Leaving Checkout does not cancel a completed payment, and a success page alone does not prove payment or access.
Refund eligibility, timing, partial-refund treatment, and any non-waivable consumer rights will be governed by the policy displayed for the offer and applicable law. A successful full refund ends the grant associated with that order. Contact support with the internal order UUID and never send card details by email.
11. Changes, availability, and beta features
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features; update practice content; change supported providers; impose reasonable usage limits; or perform maintenance. We will try to preserve portable progress and give notice of material changes when practical, but continuous availability is not guaranteed.
Preview, community, and internally validated content may contain errors. Back up important learning records using the available export tools.
12. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, comply with law, respond to provider requirements, investigate abuse, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
You may stop using ITForMe at any time and may delete your signed-in account under the Privacy Policy. The license needed to retain de-identified correction proposal text and other terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITForMe is provided "as is" and "as available." ZRG Studios disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZRG Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill; exam fees; employment decisions; or third-party conduct arising from ITForMe.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZRG Studios' total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid ZRG Studios for ITForMe during the twelve months before the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply where applicable law forbids them.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as ITForMe changes. The page will show the new effective date. Material changes may be announced in the service before they take effect when practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms, subject to rights that cannot be waived by law.
16. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and ZRG Studios about ITForMe, except for any separate written agreement. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them with the service subject to applicable law.
Applicable law and available courts depend on mandatory law and the circumstances of the dispute. These Terms do not waive non-waivable consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms, legal notices, or an inaccessible account can be sent to the contact address below. Signed-in learners should use the Account page for archive and deletion controls. Never include a password, OAuth token, MFA secret, or recovery code.
